  • 949 South Hope St, ZA-2017-4610-CU-MCUP-SPR-1A: Demolition of an existing 3-story office building and the construction, use, and maintenance of a 251,222 sf, 27-story residential tower with 236 residential apartment units and 10,010 square feet of ground floor commercial restaurant space.

  • 1111 South Broadway, APCC-2023-3070-SPE: Construction of 3 new illuminated neon Wall Signs measuring four ft tall by nine ft five inches wide, with an area of 37.67 sf each. The signs will contain on-site advertising reading "ASU" and be located on the historic Herald Examiner building. Two signs will have a maximum height of 71 ft from Grade, while the third sign will have a maximum height of 68 ft from Grade

February 28 | LA City Council

  • 3676 1-2 South Kelton Avenue & 3704 1-2 South Kelton Avenue, CPC-2023-582-CU-DB-HCA-PHP-1A: Decision to adopt Planning Commission and PLUM findings to deny the appeal and sustain the determination in approving a CUP to allow a DB in which the density increase is greater than otherwise permitted by LAMC Section 12.22 A.25, and for the demolition of two existing duplexes (total of four dwelling units) and the construction, use and maintenance of a new DB project with 43 dwelling units (11 VLI).

  • 6728 Sepulveda Blvd, DIR-2022-5107-TOC-SPR-VHCA: Adoption of SCEA for 268,770 sf, 405 unit (i41 affordable) residential development comprised of a six-story structure with three subterranean parking levels with max height of 66 ft, the 94,951 sf. Project would provide 556 total vehicular parking spaces and 194 bicycle parking spaces (176 long-term and 18 short-term) and have a max FAR of 3.18:1.

  • 7115-7131 North Van Nuys Blvd, DIR-2022-7247-TOC-SPR-HCA-1A: Decision to deny the appeal filed by Supporters Alliance for Environmental Responsibility (SAFER) and sustain the determination of the LACPC in approving a Categorical Exemption as the environmental clearance for the construction, use, and maintenance of a new six-story mixed-use building with 214 residential units (24 ELI), above approximately 15,804 sf of commercial space on the ground floor.

  • REQUEST for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) to report on their existing process for reviewing and adopting new technologies related to solar and battery system installations in commercial and residential properties

  • Conduct an economic analysis for the re-use of City ­owned property located at 13460 Van Nuys Boulevard for a potential housing or mixed-­use development

  • AUTHORIZE General Manager, Department of General Services, or designee to negotiate and execute a lease agreement with VOALA for the operation of a Tiny Home Village site located at 850 North Mission Road in Council District 14

February 28 | East LA Planning Commission

  • 3918 & 3924 West Rome Court, ZA-2022-957-ZAD-SPP-HCA-1A: Construction, use, and maintenance of a new 2,557 sf single-family dwelling with an attached garage and an attached 445 sf Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) (under separate Administrative Review), on an 11,377 sf vacant lot that is within the Mount Washington-Glassell Park Specific Plan area. Appeal from Property Owner over adjacent roadway requirements.
