  • Approval of Boyle Heights Community Plan and General Plan Land Use Map, CPC-2016-2905-CPU. Application of new land use designations.

  • 3676 Kelton Ave, CPC-2023-582-CU-DB-HCA-PHP: Decision on appeal of CUP that allows a DB exceeding LAMC limits. The proposed building is 39,011 sf and 62 ft high with 43 dwelling units (11 VLI). Neighbor-led appeals regarding sewage and stormwater issues, traffic safety, and building size, citing a 201% density increase.

  • 1000 Seward St & 1013 N Hudson Ave, CPC-2020-1237-GPA-VZC-HD-MCUP-SPR: Decision on General Plan Amendment to the Hollywood Community Plan to change land use designation from Medium Residential to Limited Manufacturing for a 9-story office building

  • 11201 Ventura Blvd, CPC-2021-10345-DB-SPP-SPR-WDI-HCA: Appeal review on build of 4-story, 129-unit density bonus apartment (13 VLI) and 146 parking spaces. Appeals from Supporters Alliance for Environmental Responsibility and Studio City Residents Association.

  • 3439 W 8th St & 757 S Harvard Blvd, CPC-2019-2567-GPAJ-VZCJ-HD-CUB-SPR-1A: Appeal review for 8-story, 251-unit (11% VLI) mixed-use development with 2 incentives. Appeals from Supporters Alliance for Environmental Responsibility and Studio City Residents Association.

  • LAMC amendment to establish three new planning and land use fees

December 5 | City of Santa Monica Planning Commission

  • Proposed amendments to update ordinances related to the State Density Bonus Law to ensure consistency with recent state law changes

December 6 | LA City Council

  • Amending LAMC to streamline Zoning Code regulations to create a permanent Al Fresco Program for outdoor dining on private property

December 7 | City Planning Commission

  • 12701 Washington Pl, CPC-2022-7482-DB-HCA: Approval for off-menu incentives for demolition of commercial building and build of DB housing development totaling 34 units (3 VLI). Request for FAR of 3:1 in lieu of 1.5:1 in C2 zone and to permit a portion of required loading space into required driveway access.

  • 1201 North Gower St, CPC-2023-1539-DB-VHCA: Approval for partial demolition of existing multi-family to construct an 8-story multi-family building with 108 new units (16 VLI and 2 LI). Off-menu incentives include a reduction in parking stall widths, ingress/egress along the collector roadway, and an increased FAR of 3.12:1.

  • 1212 N Orange Dr, DIR-2022-6375-TOC-WDI-VHCA-1A: Appeals decision for 14,328 sf, 8-unit apartment building with attached ADU. Previously approved with conditions with 1 ELI unit and a 60% increase in density and FAR. Property owner appealed the denial of WDI for the replacement of the existing curb along the easterly side and the approval condition as they “make the project infeasible”
