LA Planning Land Use Management Committee and City Council canceled

August 19 | Santa Monica Architectural Review Board

  • 2501 Wilshire Blvd, 24ARB-0030: Review of eight-story, 85’ tall, mixed-use housing development consisting of 170 residential units and 17,438 sf of ground floor commercial space above four levels of subterranean parking in the Mixed-Use Boulevard (MUB) Zoning District. This project was previously reviewed on May 20, 2024. Staff Report.

  • 2025 Wilshire Blvd, 24ARB-0035: Review of an eight-story, mixed-use building with 150 residential units, 8,556 sf of ground floor commercial space, and four levels of subterranean parking. The project is located in the Mixed-Use Boulevard (MUB) Zoning District. This project was previously reviewed on April 29, 2024. Staff Report.

  • 901 -913 Pico Blvd, 24ARB-0109: Review of Tier 1, five-story, 47’ tall residential housing project consisting of 45 residential units with one level of subterranean parking located in the General Commercial (GC) Zoning District. This project was a Preliminary Review on May 6, 2024. Staff Report. 

August 20 | LA Harbor Area Planning Commission

  • 1602 West 25th St, ZA-2023-2107-CU-1A: Appeal from Friends of South Shores over the decision to approve a CUP to construct a new drive-through Starbucks. The new one-story building will have a total floor area of 2,200 sf and a height of 18 feet, with 22 parking stalls, 21 indoor seats, and hours of operation from 4:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Project will have a drive-through and walk-in service

August 21 | West LA Planning Commission

  • 246, 248, 250 South Sixth Ave, DIR-2021-2054-CDP-MEL-HCA-1A: Demolition of a one-story, 1,497 sf SFD, and the construction of a two-story, 11,045 sf, four-unit apartment building with one subterranean level, four recreation rooms, and four roof decks, with nine required parking spaces on-site. *Note: In response to the appeal, the applicant modified the proposed project to reduce the square footage of the four-unit apartment building for consideration by the West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission.

August 22 | South Valley Planning Commission

  • 17820 West Erwin St, APCSV-2023-4402-ZC-HCA: Subdivision of lots into two separate lots and addition of 2,173 sf to an existing approximately 1,366 sf SFD for a total of 3,539 sf and the construction, use and maintenance of a new 3,539 SFD on a 20,994 (gross) sf lot in the RA-1-RIO Zone (with a requested Zone Change to R1- 1-RIO). Each dwelling will be 24 feet nine inches tall and constructed with an attached two-car garage.
