Los Angeles holds a special place for us as the first market where we built our platform. It’s a city that means so much to us. If our data can assist in rebuilding or planning for the future, we are here to help.

Yesterday, Gov. Newsom issued an executive order to expedite the rebuilding of homes and businesses destroyed by the fires. The order suspends CEQA and Coastal Act reviews and instructs state agencies to identify permitting requirements that can be streamlined.

  • 555 East Universal Hollywood Dr, CPC-2017-5423-VZC-HD-CUB-CUX-SPR: Vesting Zone Change and Height District Change for the Hilton Universal City Project, which involves the construction of an approximately 300,000 sf 18-story Hotel Expansion Building addition to the existing 24-story Hilton Universal City Hotel; the Expansion Building would be comprised of 395 guestrooms, a spa, restaurants, an indoor/outdoor bar, two pools, a single-level lobby lounge/bar, a meeting room addition to the ancillary building, and an expansion of the existing three-level parking garage. Upon completion, the Project would provide 890 guestrooms and 696,609 sf of floor area, resulting in a FAR of 2.2:1.

  • Department of City Planning Memo and Corrected Resolution relative to fixing typographical errors in Article 5 (Use) of the New Zoning Code

 

Jan 15 | West LA Area Planning Commission

  • 2010 South Canal St, DIR-2024-1072-CDP-MEL-HCA-1A: An appeal of an approved conversion of a two-car garage into an attached 372 sf Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) within an existing two-story duplex resulting in a lot with a duplex and an attached ADU, providing one parking space on-site in Venice.

  • 2024 California Legislative Session Housing Law Updates

  • 1901 Wilshire Blvd: A Conditional Use Permit, Development Review Permit, Waiver, and Minor Modification to allow for the construction of a new Tier 2, three-story, 23,634 sf medical office building with Mixed-Use Boulevard (MUB) zoning district. The proposed Waiver and Minor Modification requests are to allow for a reduction of the minimum upper-story stepback and loading space dimensional requirements, respectively.
