LA County supervisors are set to vote April 1 on whether to overhaul homeless spending by redirecting the majority of county funding from the troubled LAHSA to direct county control of $300 million. Read motion.
At the same time, the LA County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve a $908 million funding package for homeless services, including the first allocations under the new Measure A sales tax
Developer Decro Corporation marked the debut of The Brine, a new affordable housing complex in Lincoln Heights with 97 units, including 72 PSH units
State Assembly rep, Tina McKinnor, introduced Assembly Bill 628. If passed, the legislation would require California landlords to provide stoves and refrigerators for all apartment leases after Jan. 1, 2026
