4579 W. Hollywood Blvd, DIR-2023-2838-TOC-SPP-SPR-HCA-1A: Appeal filed by SAFTER against the approval of a seven-story, 181-unit mixed-use development within the Vermont/Western Station Neighborhood Area Plan. The project includes 18 VLI units and 1,500 sf of ground-floor retail space. Incentives requested under the TOC program include increased FAR and reduced parking requirements.
21101 W. Ventura Blvd, CPC-2022-8609-ZC-HD-SPE-SPP-CU-SPR-1A: Appeal filed by the West Valley Alliance for Optimal Living concerning the approval of a self-storage facility and associated hotel improvements. The project includes a three-story, 100,000 sf elf-storage building and a 120-room hotel. Incentives requested involve exceptions to the Ventura/Cahuenga Boulevard Corridor Specific Plan, including increased building height and reduced setbacks.

5271 W. Sunset Blvd, DIR-2023-2587-TOC-SPP-HCA-1A: Appeal filed by Richard Fleming from the 5271 W. Sunset Blvd Tenants Union against the approval of a four-story, 19-unit mixed-use development within the Vermont/Western Station Neighborhood Plan Specific Plan. The project includes two VLI units and 2,000 sf of commercial space. Incentives requested under the TOC program include reduced open space requirements and increased density.
17538–17550 Tramonto Dr, CPC-2023-3456-SUB-ZAD-1A: An appeal was filed by the Castellammare Mesa Home Owners Association against the approval of four single-family dwellings, including associated grading and a 200-foot extension of Revello Drive. The project involves significant hillside grading and requests for ZAD related to street improvements and driveway access.

2115–2125 East Cesar East Chavez Ave, DIR-2021-8626-RDP-HCA-1A: Commission originally heard this case on March 13, 2024. Pursuant to the judgment and writ issued in the case of Cesar Chavez 888, LLC v. City of Los Angeles, the Commission has been ordered to:
(1) set aside, vacate, and annul its March 13, 2024 determination that granted an appeal of the Director of Planning's August 31, 2023 decision and disapproved the Project; and
(2) Approve the Project.
The hearing involves the presentation of and request for action by the Commission consistent with the Court-issued writ.
Project is a new, six-story, 75-foot 2-inch, 51,235 sf mixed-use building, with 50 residential units including five units reserved for ELI households, approximately 4,030 sf of ground floor commercial space, and a FAR of 3.68:1, in a Commercial Area of the Adelante Eastside Redevelopment Plan Area

Construction of a new two-story, 3,873 sf SFD and an attached 800 sf ADU, three retaining walls measuring 62-feet, 35-feet six-inches, and 35-feet and three-inches long and up to six-feet in height, on a lot that measures 9,536 sf vacant lot, that is within the Northeast Hillside Ordinance.
