Special Meeting: LA PLUM Committee to Approve Housing Ordinances

LA’s Planning and Land Use Management Committee will meet to adopt citywide ordinances:
Citywide Housing Incentive Program (CHIP) Ordinance (CPC-2023-7068-CA)
Housing Element Sites and Minimum Density Ordinances (CPC-2024-387-CA)
Adaptive Reuse Ordinance (CPC-2023-5986-CA)
Resident Protections Ordinances (CPC-2024-388-CA)
According to a study released by UCLA last week, these ordinances and the overall rezoning plan will only increase LA’s capacity for new construction by ~30%
