LA’s Planning and Land Use Management Committee will meet to adopt citywide ordinances:

According to a study released by UCLA last week, these ordinances and the overall rezoning plan will only increase LA’s capacity for new construction by ~30%

  • Decision to adopt the following proposed and amended citywide ordinances:

  • Adoption and approval of ordinances for the Downtown Community Plan and New Zoning Code Project (CPC-2017-432-CPU)

  • Adoption and approval of ordinances for Hollywood Community Plan Implementation Overlay District, amend the Vermont/Western Transit Oriented District Station Neighborhood Area Plan, amend the Hollywood Redevelopment Plan, and establish the Hillside Construction Regulations district Zoning Code Project (2016-1451-EIR)

  • Review of both sites of two residential towers under the same development in South Park, DTLA (filed in 2018):

  • 3701 North Glenridge Dr, ENV-2017-1106-CE: Approve related CEQA findings and deny appeals of a CE as the environmental clearance and a haul route application to export 3,990.63 cy of earth for the construction of a two-story SFD with a detached two-car carport, a basement, an underground garage, a driveway bridge, a pool/spa, and hardscape

  • 1114 North Heliotrope Dr, DIR-2021-1238-TOC-SPP-HCA-1A: Adopt the findings of CPC and deny the appeal filed by Fred Stifter, Linoleum City, Inc. to approve a CE as the environmental clearance for the demolition of an existing SFD and a detached garage, and the construction of a five-story, 15,450 sf, 30-unit residential building within Subarea C of the Vermont/Western Station Neighborhood Area Plan Specific Plan
